In honor of Black History Month (2023), Neiman Marcus gave space to honor history, celebrate black voices in fashion, and give back to the communities we live and work in observance of Black History Month.
NM Atlanta hosted the The Designer Collective for Black History Month Panel Discussion, moderated by Dr. Courtney Hammonds, The Dean of Fashion, and featured special guest like LT Dickens and Casey J Benard. NM Lenox Squared also displayed art curated by Dr. Dionne Boyd and provided a platform to encourage open discussions regarding the impact of Black History on fashion."The Designer Collective" for Black History Month platform at NM Atlanta was monumental. The event provided a unique opportunity for up-and-coming and seasoned designers to accelerate their growth at Neiman Marcus Atlanta and across the fashion industry. Looking forward to seeing how NM and other luxury brands continue to amplify black creatives one garment at a time!, stated Dr. Courtney Hammonds.

Video from the Big Pitch Competition held at New Birth MIssionary Baptist church where our very own first lady donned a custom piece by LT Dickens Designs for her first sermon at the church. She later went on to announce LT Dickens as the winner of the competition.
